On March 23rd, Angel Garcia Gago, PhD student at HM&Co, was invited to give a seminar at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) as part of the Meteorology and Geophysics Master seminars.
His seminar was entitled “Space-time variability of small-scale wind fields: Simulations and transfer to the calculation of torque in wind turbines” and provided an introduction to the Universal Multifractals (UM) framework, including numerical simulations and some applications taken from his PhD research.
The event was attended by master’s students, researchers, and professors in the atmospheric science field.
