After a heavenly childhood on La Réunion, I left the island before being attacked by a shark and studied maths and physics in Paris for two years. Then I entered Centrale Nantes on the West Coast -of France- and continued my education at McGill University in Montreal, from which I graduated with a Master’s degree in Survival at sub-zero temperatures.
In 2017, I started a PhD at Ecole des Ponts on the topic “Optimal implementation of green gridshells for mitigating urban heat island effects” supervised by Ioulia Tchiguirinskaia, Pierre-Antoine Versini (HM&Co lab), Adélaïde Feraille and Jean-François Caron (Navier lab).
My main research interests concern thermal flow modelling at various scales, architectural geometry, the assessment of ecosystemic benefits of urban vegetation and the life-cycle analysis of vegetated structures.
