Guillaume DROUEN
Full-stack web developer Office: V428
Description:
I am a full-stack web developer with expertise in scientific publishing on the web.
Current Project:
I joined HM&Co lab of École des Ponts ParisTech to develop the Fresnel SaaS (software as a service) platform. As cities are put under greater pressure from the threat of the global impact of climate change, in particular the risk of heavier rainfall and flooding, there is a growing need to establish a hierarchical form of resilience in which critical infrastructure can become sustainable. The Fresnel platform has been purposely set-up to provide the concerned communities with the necessary observation data thanks to an unprecedented deployment of higher resolution sensors, that easily yield Big Data.
Experiences:
I have a Master of Applied Physics: waves and complex environments, from Université de Marne la Vallée. During my master intership I worked on improving the digital panoramic X-rays at Faculté de chirurgie dentaire de Paris.
I also worked for 10 years at an international scientific publisher, where I grew my development skills and knowledges on scientific diffusion on the web.
