IdF-Precip 2016
HM&Co took par
t to an intense measurement campaign (“IdF – Precip 2016”) of precipitations in the Ile-de-France Region in 2016. This campaign was a joint effort of HM&Co, IPSL, LAMP and IGE.
Data collected by various precipitation sensors installed on the SIRTA platform and weather radars including our dual polarisation X-band one, will be used for instrumental intercomparison to help evaluate the uncertainty associated with each device and their respective domain of relevance, as well as further scientific studies notably on spatio-temporal precipitation variability or precipitation microphysics processes.
