The beginning of the project ANR EVNATURB was inaugurated today at L’École des Ponts ParisTech. Coordinated by Pierre-Antoine Versini (HM&Co) and with four years of planned research activities, the project aims to develop methods and tools to assess eco-systemic performances of urban areas revegetation. A systemic, multi-services, multi-scale approach will be undertaken so that rainfall water management, mitigation of the urban heat and biodiversity can be taken into account in as integrated manner. The project gathers together research institutes (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, Agro ParisTech, Cerema) and companies (Société du Grand Paris, Certivéa, Jardins de Gally, VulkaTec). EVNATURB will start with a PhD thesis on measuring and modelling the thermic fluxes related to green infrastructures. Updates on the project will follow on this page.
