Aurore, a powerful autumn storm, hit the North of France during the night from Wednesday 20 to Thursday 21 October 2021. Strong winds were reported and they resulted in damages. In mid-October, following the end of planned work on the roof of Carnot building, HM&Co re-installed three disdrometers in the framework of the TARANIS observatory. Daily quicklooks are available here. .
New devices were installed on HM&Co radar platform in late August to complement TARANIS observatory existing ones. More precisely, a 3D sonic anemometer and a mini meteorological stations were installed on offset arms attached to the radar platform. They will provide local wind and meteorological data at high resolution (100 Hz and 1 Hz respectively)....
