Water cycle: Precipitation

Precipitation is highly important not only for meteorology, where it plays a key role in the earth's energy and water budgets, but also in hydrology, where it is the input field.

The seasonal mean values of the daily precipitation in the European area changes due to the increase in the atmospheric concentrations of the important greenhouse gases.

The convection of the clouds by the atmospheric turbulence increase the complexity of the precipitation.
