Scale of atmospheric motion :

The atmospheric flow is characterized by different processes (that will be identified in the next slide), these processes can be identified at different scales. At molecular scale we can found different chemical reaction and also physical processes such as the molecular diffusion. At micro-scale level which is scale large than the molecular scale, we can found processes such as turbulent eddies interactions. For the mesoscale, we can refer to gravity waves and also tornados.
