Stormwater Source Control (SC) also called Best Management Practices (BMP) or Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS).
The principle of SC is to develop, simultaneously to urban growth and the lack of space, facilities to manage stormwater at a small-scale (about
m2) to solve or prevent intermediate scale (

m2) stormwater issues.
Green roof – as rain garden, biorentention swale or storage pond- is considered as a Stormwater Source Control.
