As we have seen, the nonlinear dynamics adds additional difficulty in the characterization of complex systems. This property is also in environmental systems in the atmosphere, ocean, hydrology etc ...
We found in the equations that governing the dynamics (Navier-Stokes, Saint-Venant) of these systems a nonlinear terms. Later in this lesson, we will return on the physical interpretation of various terms within them.
